Maple-Chipotle Salmon

This had a great combination of sweet and spicy.  It serves well with roasted asparagus and avocado salsa.

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400F

  2. Lay the salmon filet on a cutting board

  3. Drizzle the lime juice onto the salmon

  4. Let it rest while making the rub

  5. Combine all the rub ingredients (except the olive oil) into a small bow.

  6. Stir in the olive oil until it makes a loose paste

  7. Spread the rub evenly onto the salmon filet

  8. Cut the salmon into 2 or 3 inch slices

  9. Spread on a baking sheet

  10. Bake in the oven to the desired done-ness

  11. Spread maples syrup over the filet pieces with a pastry brush

  12. Broil for a minute or two.

  13. Serve
