I like making my own Italian sausage so I have control over the flavors. It works well with either ground pork or ground turkey.
Ingredients
- 1 lb gound pork
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/4 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp ground fennel seed

Instructions
- Combine pork and vinegar in a medium mixing bowl
- Sprinkle with the herbs and spices
- Knead by squeezing through your fingers until well incorporated
